The panels front and back surfaces are maple hardwood veneer. The hardwood maple has no seams, voids or knots of any kind. 

The 8"x 8" Maple Panel sides are finely sanded furniture grade maple plywood. 

Art Boards™ Maple Uncradled Art Panels have dovetail hanging slots routed into the back. Art will hang perfectly flush to the wall without the need of framing. 

There are no formaldehydes added to any of the Art Board's materials. There will be no out gassing onto the art, or the environment. 

The Art Board has a 5 layer void free construction. Each layer is glued, pressed, and laminated using a formaldehyde free adhesive.

The rigid maple painting surface is finely sanded and perfect for all painting mediums including:  oils, acrylics, egg tempera, encaustic, pastels, frescoes, colored pencil, charcoal, pastels, gouache, Collage, airbrush, mounting of prints, works on paper, icons, mosaics, and more.
