The Cotton Canvas is sized and primed with acrylic gesso. The Gessoed Canvas is mounted to the panel with a reversible conservator’s adhesive. The adhesive forms an acrylic waterproof barrier between the canvas and the panel. The canvas can be removed from the panel in the future if ever needed.

Canvas mounted panels lie perfectly flat with crisp clean edges that are perfectly straight and square. Art Boards™ Canvas panels have a clean precise presence unlike the look and feel of canvas over stretchers. The canvas surface remains stable with no fluctuation. There is no movement or bounce with the artists brushwork.

The rigid panel protects the painting from damage. The panel prevents the canvas from being dented, punctured, or torn. The canvas board keeps paint films from flexing and cracking by eliminating movement. 

Art Boards™ Canvas Panels are formaldehyde free. There is no formaldehyde added to any of it's materials, which means no out gassing onto the art, or the interior environment.

Paintings hang secure and flush on the wall. The panel's back has recessed hanging slots which allow art to be hung in either direction, without the need for framing.
